Who are we?

The FRISC (Finance, Supply Chain and Risk) Department is one of the core support functions at our headquarters. FRISC consists of around 75 talented and engaged employees, who are responsible for DRC’s financial-and supply chain affairs globally, in close cooperation with the operational departments.

You will be a part of the Central Accounting Unit at our headquarters and will report to the Head of the Central Accounting. You will be working in a great team, consisting of 9 other committed and competent controllers and accountants. We are very busy, and our daily work is packed with exciting challenges.

About the job

This is a newly created position, and you will have great influence on the development of the tasks. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Liquidity management and cash flow management
  • Development and execution of hedging strategies for currency and interest rate exposures
  • Execution of liquidity forecasts in the short and medium term
  • Assisting with the daily cash flow management, e.g. in relation to the weekly payment runs.
  • Liaising and developing banking relationships with local as well as global banking partners
  • Allocation of bank interest to donors
  • Back-up for bank payments
  • Member of the weekly liquidity board
  • Ad-hoc tasks

About you:

To be successful in this role it is expected that you will be a proactive good team player and aim to be part of a committed team. That you can maintain an overview when things are busy, think strategically, work structurally, and create solutions. Additionally, we expect you to be willing to be adaptable and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Moreover, we also expect the following:

  • Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting, Business, Economics or similar
  • + 5 years’ experience of relevant experience from a similar role in an international organisation, consultancy or financial institution.
  • Well-rounded experience with ERP systems
  • Experience and interest in foreign exchange risk management
  • Deep understanding of financial markets
  • Solid interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
  • Analytical skills and ability to handle data in a structured manner
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate complex information in an easy and understandable manner
  • High level of written and spoken Danish
  • High level of written and spoken English

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC (agreement for Academics) or other relevant agreements. This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
