Role and Responsibilities

The UDOC/Site Management Officer represents NRC and ensures smooth project implementation. Responsibilities include adhering to NRC policies, preparing status reports, promoting technical improvements, building team capacity, and collaborating with local authorities.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Data gathering for needs assessments and reporting findings.
  • Identifying context-based UDOC activities.
  • Mitigating UDOC risks.
  • Addressing gender, protection, and environmental concerns.
  • Advising on tool adaptation.
  • Efficient resource management.
  • Monitoring safe UDOC practices.
  • Reporting and record-keeping.
  • Personal and team management.
  • Networking and external coordination.

Desirable Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum three years of similar job experience.
  • Humanitarian assistance and urban planning/Protection programming experience is a plus.

Languages:
