General Overview

The User Experience Associate will support the development of Changemakers.com by producing user experience reports and recommendations, wireframes, and designs using Figma, creating visuals, and leading the creation of comprehensive user guides for Changemakers.com and connected platforms. The candidate should have a strong understanding of user experience design principles, experience with Figma and other design tools, and excellent communication skills.

 

Responsibilities

  • Producing user experience reports and recommendations to improve user experience on Changemakers.com
  • Producing wireframes and designs using Figma for pages to be built on Changemakers.com
  • Supporting communication initiatives, creating visuals
  • Leading the creation of comprehensive user guides for Changemakers.com and connected platforms
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure that user experience design principles are followed in all aspects of the website development
  • Ensuring that all designs are accurate, up-to-date, and meet the requirements of the project
  • Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to a high standard

 

Deliverables

  • User experience reports and recommendations for Changemakers.com
  • Wireframes and designs using Figma for pages to be built on Changemakers.com
  • Visuals to support communication initiatives
  • Comprehensive user guides for Changemakers.com and connected platforms

 

Skills and Experience

  • Strong understanding of user experience design principles
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Information Design, etc.) is preferred but not required
