The consultant will contribute to the creation of a new improved and user friendlier Reform tracker tool in Abu Dhabi, which enhances the capability of Trade facilitation Committees to better monitor trade facilitation reforms.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the project manager of the below mentioned UNCTAD project and the overall supervision of the Chief of the Trade Facilitation Section, Trade Logistics Branch, Division on Technology and Logistics of UNCTAD, the consultant will work in the framework of the following UNCTAD project: TMAX on “Strengthening the capacities of the Abu Dhabi Trade Facilitation Committee”, financed by Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.Within this project. In this context, the consultant will undertake the following activities: – Adaptation of the new interface branding concept of the Reform Tracker for the Abu Dhabi version of the Reform Tracker: o Dashboard o Internal admin pages o What’s new pages o Document download page o Statistics page o Reforms page o Reform creation page o User and agency creation page o Track changes page o My profile page – Proposing User Experience improvements in the pages, when appropriate: – Design of new internal dashboard for administrators of Abu Dhabi Reform Tracker including the following modules: o Special Reform Tracker statistics o Newsletter sending functionality o User management o Notifications – Adaptation of all screens to tablet and mobile size
Qualifications/special skills
A first university degree, Bachelor in communication, design, new technologies or equivalent is required. At least 7 years of proven experience on design of digital tools, software, websites is required. At least 5 years of experience in IU is required. Knowledge of UX is desirable.
Languages
Fluency spoken and written in English is required.
