The volunteer will provide communication support to help the office formulate and disseminate information. Under the guidance of the Communication Consultant, the volunteer will develop UNESCO communication strategy, and communication products to promote UCO work. The Communication Volunteer will work closely with all UNESCO projects, sectors and programme specialists under the supervision of the Communication Consultant to consolidate messaging and communication of all UCO efforts.
Expected Key Deliverables:
1. Develop a strategy for external communications and outreach
2. Develop communication products, including the update of the UNESCO website and other communications, including social media
3. Initiate partnerships between the UNESCO Cairo Office and the media, as well as other relevant partners.
UNESCO will not pay any financial expenses connected with the volunteer agreement. All expenses will be borne by the selected volunteer.
