Plan International Sierra Leone is seeking to recruit a top-notch professional to fulfil the position of Warehouse Assistant based in Bo, Moyamba, Kailahun, and Port Loko to deliver the tasks outlined below:

The Integrated School Feeding program is designed to support primary school children (both boys and girls) across Bo/Moyamba, Kono/Kailahun, Bombali, Tonkolili, and Port Loko districts in order to improve learning outcomes. The programme provides primary school children in targeted communities with everyday hot school meals. As an added value, the programme has community sensitization on the value of education, hygiene, gender equality, and nutrition to ensure that the community members show commitment to the educational development of their children and ensure that all children irrespective of gender, tribe or vulnerability have equal access to all of our services in a non – discriminative manner.
DIMENSIONS OF ROLE
This position is to assist the warehouse officer in maintaining inventory and Commodity/supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering commodities and securing the warehouse.

The role will be required to manage the warehouse and to visit the operational communities, schools, and stores within the communities for accurate inventory when required

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
Ensure staff understands Plan International’s commitment to driving a feminist agenda within the organization, and the ambition for gender equality and gender transformative leadership is embedded in our value-based leadership framework.
