We have a Warehouse Operative position available within our Mobility Aids Service (MAS) team based in Warmley.

Warehouse Operative is primarily a warehouse-based role, working to ensure that all mobility aids are cleaned, serviced and repaired to an agreed national standard. There may be some driving involved, transporting stock between different British Red Cross sites.

A day in the life of a Warehouse Operative:

The Warehouse Operative works closely with the Logistics Manager to contribute to the smooth operation of the Equipment Distribution Service. They will provide support to other members of the department ensuring that the operation complies with, and where possible, exceeds customer expectations, contractual arrangements, service levels and overall company requirements whilst delivering target profitability.

To be a successful Warehouse Operative, you’ll need:

To be able to work as part of a team supporting each other.
To be able to self manage time and workload.
To be a confident and safe driver with van driving experience and knowledge of Bristol and surrounding area.
To be physically able to lift and carry loads up to 21kg (within the Health and Safety Manual Handling criteria).
To have some basic IT knowledge.
A full UK driving licence to drive manual transmission, held for a minimum of 2 years.
