We are seeking a Workshops and Webinars Coordinator for a 1-year-contract position to work within the Policy & Economic Research Department at the International Vaccine Institute in Seoul, Korea. (Duty station: Seoul, Korea)
Job Description

This position will be responsible for supporting, implementing, and advancing the policy and advocacy agenda of the PER department and particularly the RADAAR project, through the conduct of a series of planned online data and policy workshops and events, in partnership with internal and external collaborators.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Support development of online workshops and webinars including identification of delivery platforms, audio-visual formats, methodology, compelling textual and visual content, and speakers/participants listings.
2. Background event management of the series of high-level online symposiums/webinars, regional data, and policy workshops.
3. Establish a system for analyzing, documenting online participation, and providing feedback as needed.
4. Participate in team and consortium teleconferences and contribute to the development of the three regional data workshops.
5. Participate in any other activities relevant to the implementation of project activities.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
1. Education Requirements
  • Minimum Master’s level in social/communication sciences or international relations. Additional relevant training in online methods/research desirable.
2. Related Field Work Experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional work experience, including at least 3+ years in international settings and/or developing countries.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing online events, especially workshops and high-level events. Online events related to public health and/or in the development sector is highly desirable.
  • Experience with UN agencies and/or international organizations is an asset.
3. Technical and Professional Skills / Knowledge
  • Advanced writing skills and development of communication products.
  • Advanced skills in the design/conduct of online events.
  • Knowledge of high-level policy and advocacy strategies is an asset
4. Language Proficiency
  • High level of fluency in written and spoken English
